In 2016 the Christie Organ celebrated its 80th birthday and as you can imagine with an instrument of this age the need for continual maintenance and restoration is on going.

Over the years many of the electrical magnets have been replaced, wind regulators re-leathered and percussion instruments rebuilt. Magnets for such high wind pressures have to be made especially for us.  The original electro-pneumatic relays have been replaced by a computer relay.  All of this costs and great deal of money and we are always grateful for any financial help received.
